Oh how I love this site and the philosophy behind it.
No Mommy’s Perfect.
It’s progress not perfection.
No Mommy’s Perfect…my mommy is priceless.
If these phrases made you crack a smile, you’ll like the No Mommy’s Perfect site. A few weeks ago I wrote a post on my blog, “Smile and Fake It” after having a few different conversations with my mommy friends lately about how we’re all trying to keep it together, and some days feel like we’re failing miserably. How great is it to know that we’re not alone in this feeling?
No Mommy’s Perfect was created to help mom’s keep motherhood down to earth. What does this mean? It means giving up the idea that we all need to be Super Mom and realize that we’re all normal everyday moms. None of us is perfect.
A goal of No Mommy’s Perfect is to pass on positive messages to other moms through their products. I know if I saw another mom wearing a “No Mommy’s Perfect…it’s progress, not perfection” shirt, I’d have to smile and just for a moment feel like I’ve met a kindred spirit. We all feel that way, yet we all try to hide our insecurity. Why?
I don’t typically quote directly from sites I review because I feel that my job as a reviewer is to write my own thoughts, and leave the reading on the site up to you, but this text really struck me and I had to share it here to make sure you all saw it!
Perfectionism isn’t real. Mommies are real … kids are real…real messy, real sweet, real sassy… real good reminders that this is truly how life works. No Mommy’s Perfect products were created to give moms frequent positive reminders that it’s OK to be down to earth.
Couldn’t have said it better myself! I was amused at how similar our thoughts are, when looking back at my Smile and Fake It post. It just reinforces that there are moms who feel the same way, and it’s about time we started talking about it and reaching out to support each other!
No Mommy’s Perfect sent me 2 items and they are both going to be used very proudly! The first was an adorable onesie like this one that says “I love my mommy” and features a juggling mommy. The material is great, soft cotton and a nice loose fit.
The second item I received, which I am going to be taking with me to the grocery store, is a tote! Featuring the juggling mom again with M.O.M. (master of multitasking) on it, I know this is a perfect bag to take with me when I’m out and about!
To enter, go to No Mommy’s Perfect and take a look around the site. Comment here with 1 other item you’d like to have (I am going to order the brown tank!)
