mini mioche (closed)

I have been waiting for awhile to bring this review and giveaway to my readers! mini mioche sent me some clothing samples for Nevaeh and I to review awhile ago, and were just in the process of adding the shop online option to the site. Now it is ready to go, and so am I!

mini mioche (which means ‘little one’ in french) is a Canadian company that sells clothing designed and manufactured entirely in Toronto. This truly is a “Made In Canada” clothing company, who doesn’t out-source their products elsewhere yet still stamps a Canada tag on it (yes, companies do that).

When they state on the site that their clothing is like your favorite soft vintage tee, but for baby, they are not exaggerating. When I received our clothing samples in the mail, I could not believe how soft these pieces were. I have not reviewed ANY organic clothing items, or any clothing items at all for that matter, that have felt as soft as mini mioche. My husband has an old high school t-shirt that I call the Kleenex shirt. Why? Because it feels as light and soft as a single piece of tissue, yet it’s the coziest and softest shirt ever (though I refuse to wear it as we went to rival high schools, even after all these years I’m still loyal).

mini mioche clothing feels exactly like this prized shirt in our household. Unbelievably soft. I am struggling to figure out how exactly to explain the texture of the material to you all! Needless to say, when I feel other organic cotton fabrics, mini mioche will be the (high) standard they will be measured against in the future.

We have 4 great pieces from minimioche. In this picture, Nevaeh is wearing the Serenity Short Sleeve T in berry, paired with the Boogie Pant in black.

Something to note here, I LOVE the one single pair of blank pants I have now for Nevaeh. Why oh why is it so hard to find black or grey pants for infants?

mini mioche carries a great variety of colors including neutrals like this that are so hard to find.

We also have the Dream Long Sleeve T in vintage plum, which looks so great paired with the Boogie Pant as well. Because of how light and super soft this fabric is, it would be easy to layer these pieces without worry of overheating baby. We also have the Hope Long Sleeve onesie which only goes up to 12-18 months and was a little small on Nevaeh (all our other pieces are 18-24 months with room to grow).
