L’il Darlins Bib-A-Roo Review & Giveaway (closed)

When I was the parent-helper at my son’s nursery school a few months ago, it was a day in which the craft involved finger-painting. I think I did an ok job overseeing the artist’s work but I will admit I was a little bit of a hovering-mother, making sure my son didn’t just paint all willy-nilly all over the project and himself. Yes, I know you’re sitting there shaking your head. The whole point of finger painting is to be creative and have fun but I’m such a party-pooper when it comes to messes like that. Want to know the really scary part? His teacher actually complimented me on how far I’ve come from last year and how I’ve relaxed more about Elijah being messy at school. Oh my gawd I have become that mom! I’m going to try really hard to relax more about his messy crafts at school. The next time I’m the room parent I’m not even going to twitch when the paint and glue comes out. Honest!

In the meantime though, the little neat-freak in me loves products like the Bib-A-Roo that helps keep my little angels nice and clean when eating or doing messy crafts here at home (ok, I lied, we really don’t do anything too messy because it nearly gives me hives….)

The Bib-A-Roo is a pretty clever idea even for moms who don’t have a fear of paint and glue crafts. How many times has your child had a meal in the highchair with a bib on, leaving with a nice clean shirt but wet/stained pants because of all the food that dribbled down onto their lap? The Bib-A-Roo, quite literally, has your little one covered!

There’s a velcro closure on the back of the neck like a standard bib, and little elastics around the back of the leg that loosely secure the bib to the leg (no worries about a tight elastic mark on the legs here, it’s just more of a security material to keep it near the body).

We have the Yellow Dot print as seen above and made use of it the last time we had a spaghetti dinner (by the way, it washes well too). It’s the infant size so it should fit Nevaeh until she is 18 months or so.

The Bib-A-Roo is currently on sale for $12.50 US and there’s a great selection of fabric available. 1 lucky reader will win their very own Bib-A-Roo in the size and fabric of their choice! To enter, just check out the choices available in the Bib-A-Roo and comment here with which fabric you’d choose if you won!
