Smell Like The Lifestyle You Deserve

Downy Unstopables

Have you seen the new TV commercials for Downy Unstopables? The first time I caught it, I had to rewind because the comment was so funny, I had to be sure I was hearing it right.

“I want my yoga pants to smell like I sweat money.”

I have long been poking fun at my mommy tribe (myself a proud member) wearing yoga pants as our uniform. This, by the way, is being slowly replaced by the denim jacket. We wear our yoga pants proudly, and I’m constantly washing them by the load. Yes, I save all my yoga pants to wash together (because you’re supposed to!) and of course I use Downy Unstopables (Lush!) to make them smell amazing. It never occurred to me that they may smell like I sweat money, but I like it.

Aside from using Unstopables on my yoga pants, I use Unstopables Febreze (Lush scent of course!) to spray the sofa in our bonus room (my mom gets so annoyed when I don’t call it a family room, but it’s a bonus room, it says so on the house listing!)  Our labradoodle (again, very fancy) sneaks into this room and sleeps on the sofa even though I don’t allow her on there.

I scoot the kids and dog out of the room and then happily spray Unstopables Febreze Lush all over the sofa (and the carpet here and there too!) then leave the room empty for about an hour. Febreze is noted as safe around kids and pets, but I think it makes good sense not to let the source of the smell  back into the area while Febreze is working its magic!

Later, the room smells amazing, and my dog hops back on the sofa when I’m not looking.
