If the population in your household doubles – or triples – during the holidays, you know how important it is to have food at the ready and prep time down to a minimum!  Over the past year and beyond we’ve shared dozens of items from Hamilton Beach, all aimed at making your life easier and prep time more efficient (and fun!)  Here’s our list of the top 5 must-have Hamilton Beach items for the holidays, guaranteed to cut down on prep time, and impress your guests while you’re at it!  They all – of course – make great gifts too!

Single-serve coffee machines have replaced the traditional coffee-pot in many households, mine included. They’re great for my needs while working from home but become a bit ridiculous (and expensive!) when we have company and are using single-serve pods all weekend.

The Hamilton Beach 2-Way FlexBrew enables you to make coffee by-the-pot when you have company, or by the cup using coffee pods when it’s just you relaxing at home. I love this ingenius idea and think it would also make a great gift (especially if you’re the visitor using up all the coffee pods when you visit the inlaws, for example!)

Make restaurant-worthy breakfast sandwiches like a boss for your guests with this appliance, and absolute must if you spend $4 to buy them at a drive-thru – it’s changed our mornings here for the better!

With ample cooking space and 2-sided grids (that are also dishwasher safe – bonus!) this griddle is perfect for breakfast with the family or weekend company. While you can conceivably cook two (or more) different items, we tend to use all the cooking space for pancakes at once or eggs for a large group. Hamilton Beach IntelliTime Slow Cooker4) IntelliTime Slow Cooker ($99.99 at Sears)

When you have a busy household, especially during the holidays, you don’t want to spend all your time cooking. During our last family get together, I whipped up a spaghetti sauce while chatting over lunch with our guests, and let it simmer all afternoon in the slow cooker until dinner which was a much more hectic time in our household. Sure, maybe in our case it was ‘just’ a grilled cheese, but when you can press it like a panini it becomes a grilled cheese panini which is fancy-speak to a preschooler!  This Panini Press has enough space for at least 3 sandwiches at once, depending on how creative you are.  For a houseful, it makes lunch time prep a snap!
