At any given week in our household, inevitably one of our kids is going to have sleep issues. Whether it’s not being able to fall asleep, a cold, a nightmare, too much water before bed, or whatever other excuse they come up with, someone is up at least once through the night.
Generally, we don’t have too many “scared of the dark” moments, but it happens from time to time. I don’t particularly like sleeping in a dark house when my husband is away, so I get it. A nightlight is one way to of course throw some light into a room, but shadows come with that (I’m sure many parents have learned this one the hard way!)
Cloud b makes a fantastic collection of stuffies and toys that help soothe bedtime worries from birth onward. My kids have all adored Twilight Turtle and Sleep Sheep to name a few. As they’ve gotten older, Twilight Turtle may be more likely found in my 3 year old’s bed than my 7 year old.
So, when I received Dreamz to Go Octo, I knew he would be perfect for my older kids! He’s not a cuddly stuffy (and would probably be uncomfortable to roll onto) but he’s a great size, easy to hold onto and investigate while settling in to bed, and projects a beautiful collection of shapes onto the ceiling which help soothe little ones busy minds and tired eyes to sleep.

My daughter is 3 and still has her ‘moon’ that she’s had since she was a baby. She has said that if we find her a new ‘big girl moon’ (along with a radio for sound) she would allow us to remove her ‘baby’ one lol. This would be wonderful! LoL!

I think it might convince my niece to sleep in her own room more often. she’s always got a hundred reasons why she can’t. Being scared is often one of them and we leave the lights on a lot which can’t be good for her.
Maybe with something like this my little guy would stay in his own bed at night…not mommy and daddy’s.

My 6 year old has some sensory issues (still not sure if its autism or just anxiety based…still doing the testing) but there are a few things that are calming to him: Music (as long as its not loud), soft blankets and lights.
