Ah, the family road trip! Have you ever taken an extra long road trip with the family? Would you, if given the opportunity? A few years ago when our oldest kids were 6 and 2-and-a-half, we traveled from Saskatchewan out to Nanaimo, BC to visit family. It was my husband’s idea and one I was reluctant about, but I’m so glad we did it! While the kids may not remember much about it, I loved the adventure, the beautiful scenery and of course the time we had to travel, not having to meet any airplane schedules. Canada offers such beautiful scenery coast to coast, it’s really one of those must-do things as a family.
