OPI Nordic Collection

I have never been so in love with an OPI collection as I am with their new Fall/Winter 2014 launch! The Nordic Collection is totally ‘me’… and my guess is it’s totally ‘you’ too! Reason being; the Nordic Collection has it all!

The collection features 12 new shades inspired by the great northern lights in Finland, deep blue fjords in Norway, and colorful houses in Copenhagen. The Nordic Collection is diversity at its best.

The palate includes spicy browns with bronzy cinnamon and caramel tones. Rich purples that make me think of wine! Blue-violet hues that are ‘oh so cool’… and accents of creamy coral, pink and sea green.

Here is a list of the new colours features in OPI’s Nordic Collection (gotta love how OPI never runs out of creative and hilarious names and descriptions for their beautiful hues!)

Going My Way or Norway? – No two ways about it… this caramel is delicious!
Ice-Bergers & Fries – “Wood” you like a chocolate shake with that?
OPI with a Nice Finn-ish – This light, mellowed bronze completes me.
My Voice is a Little Norse – This prismatic super-shimmer is worth shouting about.
Can’t aFjörd Not To – Whatever it takes, get your hands on this extravagantly creamy coral!
How Great is Your Dane? – Pass up this cinnamon coffee? You’re barking up the wrong tree!
My Dogsled is a Hybrid – Enliven your environment by wearing this creamy sea green.
Suzi Has a Swede Tooth – That’s why I always have this strawberry candy pink on hand!
Do You Have this Color in Stock-holm? – Stock up! This icy blue-violet is in hot demand!

The pros at OPI are encouraging contrast and experimentation this fall, and that’s exactly what my model and I did when trying out the Nordic Collection. We chose Going My Way or Norway? as her main neutral colour, and accented with My Dogsled is a Hybrid on her ring finger. Super sweet!  Painting was simple with OPI’s Pro-wide brush, and we both loved the warm neutral with a little pop. The possibilities are endless with this collection!
