Summer Time is Sandal Time

Pretty your toes up, because summer is here and it’s time to show off your pedicure in fabulous sandals!

Thanks to my friends at Skechers, I have two new pairs of sandals to get me through the summer months – one casual pair for everyday wear and one adorable pair for wearing with capris and skirts when mama wants to be a little fancy. 😉

These women’s Shape-Ups Point Five Jamaica sandals are everything I was looking for in a summer sandal.  If I’m going to be wearing a daily sandal, it’s got to be comfortable (no blisters please) and of course look cute when yoga pants and shorts all summer long.  It doesn’t hurt that these sandals are part of the Skechers Shape-Ups line, meaning I can tone my butt and legs while I wear them.

I didn’t take any running shoes with me to Disneyland in June – instead choosing my Skechers Shape-Ups Five Point Jamaica shoes!  I had already broken them in (a must with all shoes even if it’s just a few wears before wearing them long term) and they were ready to go.  These shoes did not let me down on our 6 day trip that included a ton of walking in both airports and Disneyland park.  Were my feet sore at the end of the day?  For sure, because I’m human.  But these shoes kept my feet comfortable, blister free, sweaty foot smell free (hey, it’s important) and also gave my legs and bum a little bit of toning along the way!

The other Skechers sandals I received were these dressy Camera Shy sandals, though mine are black )for the life of me I couldn’t find an image of them in black online anymore!)  I don’t wear heels much at all anymore (it’s easier to chase 3 kids in flats) but these ones have a minimal heel so I’m not at risk of twisting an ankle running after a child at the park but enough of a heel that they look super cute with capris and skirts.  The slingback style with elastic makes them hug your feet perfectly without any too-tight blisters as a result.

Look for Skechers sandals in stores this summer and of course online at your favorite retailers.
