Skechers (Mega!) Giveaway ~ 4 Winners!

Earlier this summer, my husband and I had an awesome opportunity to check out the Skechers Shape Ups line of footwear. We both received two pairs of shoes to wear and have both been putting them to great use. I wrote about how I started wearing my Shape Ups when I was still pregnant!

With the return to school on the horizon, I was on the hunt for good quality, good-for-the-feet shoes for both the older kids to wear to school and Skechers inevitably came to mind.

Elijah had a pair of Skechers in grade one that lasted the entire school year, so this was the brand I wanted to go back to.

Thankfully, Skechers liked me too and we were able to forge a partnership to bring you, my readers, a fantastic giveaway once again!

Elijah checked out the Skechers Loop Hole Z Strap Shoes which we both loved.

He just finally mastered tying his shoes this summer (ahead of the curve in school, not so much on tying his shoes) and although we have one pair of shoes with laces, it was less frustrating for him to have a shoe that he could easily put on.

The ZStrap shoes look just as cool as shoes with laces, and less like the kiddie shoes that are typical for velcro-style shoes.

The dark grey color makes these shoes perfect as Elijah’s outdoor shoes for school because they can hide dirt and grass stains (and sadly, soon enough, the mud that comes with fall).

With a cushioned insole, shock absorbing midsole and heel shock absorbers these shoes are as comfortable as they are stylin’.

Not to be left out, Nevaeh received some Skechers shoes herself for her debut as a preschool student this week.

She flipped over the adorable, bright, and definitely flashy Twinkle Toes shoes from Skechers.

Not only do the shoes light up, the sequined toes light up too making these shoes stand out.

Glitter and glam all combined in one awesome looking shoe makes these Twinkle Toes from Skechers a clear winner for little girls.

Like Elijah’s shoes, these Twinkle Toes shoes from Skechers are made with a cushioned insole and shock absorbing midsole so they can handle all the running and jumping that this little girl puts them through.

Nevaeh learned quickly that the more she jumps, the more the shoes light up!

The Twinkle Toes collection from Skechers holds a variety of colors and styles (lace ups as well as the velcro closure ones Nevaeh is wearing here) and come in preschool sizes all the way up to grade school sizes.

All ‘light up’ shoes are not the same – Nevaeh had a pair of sandals this summer that had lights but they’re nothing compared to the quality and design of Skechers shoes. There are currently 25 choices of Twinkle Toes shoes on the Skechers website, including boots and sandals (the boots are adorable!)

Of course Skechers has ‘light up’ shoes for boys too! Hot Lights for boys are a huge hit this fall (I’m seeing them a lot when we’re out and about, they catch your eye!) because they light up, but still look cool enough for a preschooler or grade school boy to wear. I like that they don’t look like little-kids light-up shoes but instead look like big-boy shoes that just happen to have fantastic lights.

There isn’t as much of a selection of Hot Lights available at Skechers for boys as there is Twinkle Toes for girls – this holds true for all boys vs. girls items in stores though! It used to drive me crazy, til I had a girl (heh.)
