Started in 2007, Calypso Studios jewelry is a line of jewelry and accessories created from the earth’s natural elements. Utilizing clay, shell and glass the jewelry is distinct and stands apart from cheap plastic competitors on sight alone.
Their prices are not outrageous (the Blues Sundance Bracelet in the photo above is just $10, the Comfort Cross beside it $20, the Floral Clay Bangle is $10 and the Asian Shop Totes are $20.
I received a few pieces from Calypso Studios to check out (who can say no to free jewelry?) and my favorite piece that I received is this Black Domino Sundance Necklace ($20). The basic black, white, and silver color combo makes it versatile and easy to integrate with any outfit. Plus, it’s not too flashy that someone like me who doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry can pull it off without looking awkward!
