I first started shopping at The Body Shop when I was in the 10th grade. My favorite product then? The original Vanilla Perfume Oil – a little different than the one on the website now. My bottle was yellow and the vanilla smelled almost like root beer, do you remember that scent? I actually still have a bottle of it – friends have tried to bribe me for it – and I’m not parting with it anytime soon. I don’t even wear it, I just like to take in the scent every so often and it takes me back to high school.

I had no idea about this until now and feel like I’ve been missing out! Better late than never though – I’m ready to shop!
The Body Shop sent me a great selection of their Holiday Gifts to check out this year and the whole family has been enjoying them these past few weeks.
We tried out a variety of Holiday Products from The Body Shop including the three Body Butters that you can get in the Seasonal Trio Mini Body Butters Set – Vanilla Spice, Cranberry Joy and Jolly Orange. My husband loves orange scents (his favorite is The Body Shop’s Satsuma) so the Jolly Orange products were claimed by him.
When I opened up the Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion I was sent, it immediately took me back. I used to love this scent around the holidays (when I was a retail warrior the store I worked at was directly across from The Body Shop so I spent many days wandering around the store).
Cranberry Joy is such a great scent – what I like about it is that it doesn’t add in any spice like most holiday scents do – this is just pure, tart, cranberry! I’ve been using the Body Butter on my baby belly, the shimmer lotion before a night out, and the Cranberry Joy Lip Balm daily – I’m all cranberried out (but I love it!)
I haven’t used The Body Shop’s Home Fragrance Oils in years so it was great to try them again, especially since the ones I got are in great holiday scents – Jolly Orange and Spiced Vanilla! I used to collect these, and looking through the selection of Home Fragrance Oils currently available, I can see the addiction starting up again in the new year (especially with that $5 shipping!)
