We have been fans of Umi since we received our first pair of Umi sandals for my son last spring to review. As I shared in a further Umi review this fall (which you can read here), my son wore his Trek sandals all summer long, through 4 provinces, and the shoes held up with great durability. When given the opportunity to review Umi sandals again this spring, I eagerly replied with a loud YES! Umi was so kind to not only send me a new pair of Trek sandals to review for my son, but a fabulous pair of their Tutu style of sandals for girls for my daughter!
Having worn Umi sandals in the past, I knew my son would have no problems with these shoes causing blisters on his feet and I also knew that they would be durable enough for the playground or a day out and about as a family.
My daughter, at 2, is becoming quite the shoe-fan and loves her new Umi sandals. We got the Tutu style in brown (because, of course, I have this thing for brown and pink). With adjustable velcro straps, she loves that she can put them on by herself (and then I can quietly adjust them nice and snug so they give her super support when jumping and running.)
We picked the Trek shoe in brown as well (I’m so predictable) for my son, and of course he was thrilled to have a new pair of sandals for this spring and summer. I especially liked the front of the sandals which will keep his toes protected.
