The Infiniti Pro by Conair Spin Air Brush

Late in my pregnancy, I was given the opportunity to try out some products from Conair – a brand I know and have used in the past (many of us have probably used Conair products, they’re a well known and trusted brand). The latest product I tried intrigued me when I first read about it.

You know how hair stylists work like they have 4 arms? They somehow manage to blow-dry your hair with the dryer in one and a round brush in the other, all the while effortlessly avoiding tangles and leaving you with a fabulous style? Ever tried the ‘ol blow drier and round brush trick at home? Not so easy is it? I’d long given up on this and instead just used my fingers to tussle my hair while drying and then style with another appliance later (flat iron, rollers, or curling iron).

The Infinit Pro by Conair Spin Air Brush basically takes those two items – a blow drier and round brush – and combines them into one appliance. The spinning action (both forward and backward) is controlled by you, so novices like me can take their time working it through their hair. Yes, you need a little bit of dexterity and can’t zone out like I like to when blow drying my hair because you need to make sure you’re working the brush through your hair carefully but the end result is really nice!

The first day I tried it, my husband called after me as I went down the hall to the bathroom that he hoped he wouldn’t have to cut it out of my hair as I cried (I had a bad experience with hair rollers once, ouch) but when I did call him into the room later, it was just to help me get the hair at the back of my head done since I couldn’t reach it. And so, my husband became a hair styler extraordinaire and managed to use the Spin Air Brush as well. It was funny watching his expression in the mirror, he was terrified of getting it stuck as well, but he did a great job.

I think the idea of a Spin Air Brush can be intimidating because tangles are the first thing that come to mind but I was honestly impressed with this product and the fact that it not only didn’t tangle my hair but left it shiny, frizz free, and styled without me having to use any other product to achieve it. I haven’t tried out all the tips and tricks from Conair with this product (including using the cool air setting when you have the brush in place to set your style) and I’m still learning how to dry my hair best. I find that my ends get dried first because they’re the easiest to rotate on the brush, and my roots are left more damp because there’s more hair to wrap so it’s more difficult. Still, I’m really happy with the product and for the past few days it’s all I’ve used to dry and style my hair.

I’d never even seen the commercial above before trying this product, but others I know have. It (as always) looks a lot easier to use in the commercial than in ‘real life’, or maybe I’m just not that skilled, but if I can use it you can use it, honest!
