Vera Bradley ~ Spring 2011 Colors Are Here!

Truth be told, I had not heard of Vera Bradley until just a month or so ago.  It’s probably a good thing because once I did learn about the company I became obsessed with finding a specific Vera Bradley diaper bag that I fell in love with!  And then….well, then all the other products from this company caught my eye and I started a little list (shhh don’t tell my husband!) of future purchases.  As in most cases of a fabulous discovery, the tip about Vera Bradley came from another mom.

I was visiting a pregnancy forum and the discussion was about diaper bags, “Which one are you getting?”  I saw the Vera Bradley name come up over and over and I just had to  check it out and see why.  After seeing the beautiful quilted bags available at Vera Bradley, I understood.  No cutesy polka dots or teddy bears here – Vera Bradley Baby Bags are a fashionable and colorful accessory that every mom can carry, but still have everything inside that you need to be a fully functioning super mama.  I fell in love with the third design in the photo above – baroque – and this is where the obsession started!

Very thankfully, Vera Bradley helped calm my obsession (or did they feed it?) by sending me the Baby Bag in Baroque to review, along with 2 of their spring colors in other bags as well!  Oh yes, I think they’ve won me over entirely now!  The Vera Bradley Baby Bag is currently available in 20 colors, including the 4 new colors just released for Spring 2011!  With 11 pockets total, including two bottle holders on the outside and a zippered side pocket on the outside as well, this bag has ample space to hold everything you need without looking like you’re carrying luggage.  It even comes with a terrycloth changing pad in matching trim and because it’s a fabric diaper bag, you can wash it if needed (a feature that, as a mother-to-be a third time around, I truly love).  Now, Baroque is not a newer color but I know its’ a popular one!  If you’re curious what Vera Bradley has for Spring, here you go!

Folkloric, Blue Lagoon, Boysenberry and Lemon Parfait have been added to the Vera Bradley color collection this spring, along with some new products as well!  New bag designs include the Rachel, Eloise, Mandy, and Lizzy.  Vera Bradley even has a new E-Reader Sleeve!  All the new designs from Vera Bradley can be viewed here!

I was also sent the Lizzy Bag in Lemon Parfait and Laptop Sleeve in Boysenberry to review!  The Lizzy Bag will be perfect this spring for quick dashes to the store or to the park with the kids – it has enough room for a changepurse, debit card, makeup essentials, my BlackBerry and more.

The Laptop Sleeves from Vera Bradley are made to accomidate most 15″ laptops and have a lightweight foam padding to further protect your laptop – but let’s be honest, it’s all about fashion anyway (i.e. don’t drop your laptop regardless of what sleeve you’re using….but being pretty is a must!)

So, where can you find Vera Bradley?  Thankfully, Vera Bradley products are everywhere!  There’s more than 3000 independent retailers in the US that sell Vera Bradley as well as Vera Bradley stores of course!  The website also lists international stores where you can find Vera Bradley and of course there are tons of sites online that carry Vera Bradley products as well.
