Maggie’s Organics was founded in 1992, far before organic and fair trade clothing became the buzz words that they are today. That’s probably why they are fortunate to have www.organicclothes.com as their website address – that’s a pretty easy search for people looking for organic clothes (pays to establish yourself early!) All products at Maggie’s are made with Certified Organic Cotton or Certified Organic Wool as the main fiber. Supply chains are developed as close to home as possible to reduce energy consumption and minimal packaging is used.
Once we look past their socially conscious exterior, the clothing at Maggie’s Organics happens to be pretty fantastic as well. I love my new Lounge Wear set from Maggie’s (camisole and pants) made with certified 100% organic cotton. The sizing is great! I ordered a size small and the fit is great (even after washing). This is a great lounge outfit for summer wear (sleeping and then sitting on the patio in the backyard having a morning coffee, perfect!) because it’s so light and breathable. The absolute best part? This entire outfit is only $20!!
