There are a few promos going on at Walmart right now, and these are easy peasy ways to save you money in the long run. Whenever I see these I shake my head and wonder how on earth the general public doesn’t take advantage of this like frugal people like me do!
The first is an awesome one from Walmart/PG Brands. When you spend $50 on participating products (Tampax, Always, Nice ‘n Easy, Pantene, Old Spice, Olay, Gillette, Old Spice, Ivory and Cover Girl) before taxes, mail in your receipts with the items circled and the form that you can get here and they will send you back a $20 Walmart Gift Card!! So, do the math here, that’s $50 worth of stuff you’re going to end up buying anyway, for $30. This is the time to stock up on essentials (Always and Tampax) and maybe some gifts for gift baskets for Christmas (I usually give my sister in law a gift basket of pampering items like bubble bath, candles, etc). Think about it, if you’re going to buy tampons anyway, why not stock up all at once and get yourself a $20 gift card as a reward for thinking ahead? Receipts have to be dated between Nov.1st and December 31 and you don’t have to purchase $50 all at once.
The other promo I saw yesterday is from Walmart/Glade. When you purchase any Glade product in the store, look for a special mail in rebate form that is attached to the item (it’s pretty small, looks like a sticker that folds open). Send in your receipt, UPC from the purchased item, and the little tiny form and Walmart will mail you a $5 gift card in return. Limit of 8 per household. Why 8? Because you’d be nuts not to take advantage of this promo! Glade has Christmas jar candles that are $2.97 at Walmart right now. So you buy the candle for $2.97 and taxes, mail in the rebate info, and you walk away with a $5 gift card. That means it’s FREE people. Free candles! This is another item going in my sister in law’s gift basket!
