We all need a miracle from time to time. Most of the time, they are lighthearted requests made to make our days a little bit easier. “It would be a miracle if she was potty trained before her birthday”, or “It would be a miracle if he’d actually put his clothes in the laundry basket.” We’ve all said things like that, but to be put in a position where a miracle is the only way to explain how something so unbelievable and amazing has happened is something few of us have experienced. Until you start talking to people.
A miracle doesn’t have to be a spectacular life-changing event; it could be something small that just reffirms your faith and makes you know….just know there’s something beyond us. Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Book of Miracles
Coincidence? Not likely. Divine intervention? Perhaps. I read several of the stories in the book and then passed it on to my mom who I knew would love to have this book to read. That’s the great thing about Chicken Soup for the Soul books, they’re great to share and everyone can read them because they’re not a novel, not too in depth, and everyone can take a few minutes out of their day for inspiration.
