Thanks to my sister and mom, my eleven year old son has developed a love of poached eggs. The problem is that I only eat my eggs scrambled, and so making them for him is a bit of an experiment for me. My husband, thankfully, makes a perfect poached egg but is only home for breakfast on the weekends.
So, when I saw this Egg Cooker from Hamilton Beach that not only cooks up to 7 eggs at a time but also doesn’t require the stove to be used, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it – and then promptly present it to my son.
You really can’t mess this up – you can make hard boiled, soft or poached eggs and there’s a built-in timer so there’s no guess-work. I like that my son can use it on our kitchen counter and he likes that he can have eggs on school mornings without having to ask me first.
