The other night I came home from my brother and sister-in-law’s house after spending the entire day in their yard, planting flowers and shrubs. Of course part of the planting is the pulling weeds and preparing the soil. Needless to say, after an entire day sweating in the sun and playing in dirt, both my arms and legs were aching from fatigue and it felt as though I had dirt in every pore. I could hardly wait to bathe and to sit and relax.

The arrival of body care from Lotus Aroma, quite frankly, couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I received both the Gecaliente Gel for Tired and Heavy Legs, as well as the Granite Exfoliating Cream for the Body. As I melted into the hot bath, I flipped the cap of both of these products and was encapsulated in their vibrant and fresh scents. The exfoliating gel with its sharpness of citrusy lime, and the leg gel with waves of peppermint and camphor. The body scrub felt amazing on my skin, and also gave my rough hands a much needed scrub as I slathered it on my legs. The warm water easily rinsed the cream away and I was amazed how fresh and soft my legs felt. Afterwards I put a dab (and trust me you only need a little) of the leg gel on and rubbed it into my skin before sinking down back into the heat of the tub. I have to say the heat of the water and the slight tingling of the gel really felt amazing on my sore and aching legs.

Lotus Aroma was a new body care product to me, and I was really happy to learn that their brand offers natural and eco-friendly care products. The ingredients are 100% plant derived and up to 50% organic as well as being vegan, 99.5-100% natural, and free of: gluten, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, irritants, petroleum based minerals, oils, genetically modified oils, parabens, silicon, dyes, synthetic fragrances and phthalates… Whew! What a mouthful that is! It is so reassuring to know, that the products I’m putting on the largest organ of my body – isn’t going to do it any harm.

The true test for me is applying ANY sort of product to my freshly shaven legs (normally resulting in a huge bumpy rash). I have to say that I was greatly impressed with the fact that I could apply the peppermint/camphor gel and have zero reaction. That alone tells me that it’s a great product because it simply doesn’t irritate the skin.
