Everyone knows how important sleep is, however I don’t think it’s until you have kids that you can truly appreciate the value of a good night’s sleep. My brother and sister-in-law recently welcomed a new little life into their home and have been privy to the “joys” of sleep deprivation as a result of their newborn son’s constant wakings.
I remember these days with my own son like they were yesterday, and know just how important establishing sleep routines & traditions are. I think this would be a great gift for my nieces. They share a room and live in Toronto on an older residential street. Both of them have trouble falling asleep due to car lights, noises on the street, people talking on their porches etc. I think relaxing noises, a warm glow and something to focus on would help eliminate some of the fear or curiousity as to what is going on outside. I also love that it has a 45-minute sleep timer.
