Over the past year, I have tried out several skincare products for feistyfrugalandfabulous.com. Body wash, moisturizers, scented luxuries. While overall most of these items have been a pleasure to use, they haven’t been products that treat anything overly complex. So when I was asked to sample some products from Cheryl Lee MD Sensitive Skin Care TrueLipids, I knew it would mean seeing if it actually WORKS. The products claim to benefit eczema, dry/ itchy skin, skin allergies, severely cracked skin/ lips, diaper rash, even burns. I needed to test this stuff out.
How convenient, its spring in Saskatchewan, and my son is suffering. 5 year old Jesse’s seasonal allergies are acting up and he is a sneezy, itchy mess. I found a perfect patch of visibly irritated skin to treat – and set myself up for a clear before and after shot. The itchy, red patch spanned from the corner of Jesse’s mouth down to his chin area. I gave him a quick bath, and applied TrueLipids Relieve & Protect Ointment.
The packet says it is fast, powerful, and effective. I sent Jesse off to bed, and waited till morning. When he got up, his rashy patch had completely cleared. This after just one application of TrueLipids! I am a mom, who tried TrueLipids on my kid, and it worked. If you have a child who suffers from eczema, sensitivities, allergic reactions… then you know why I am doing the happy dance. I can honestly say I have not had this sort of luck with skincare products on Jesse before.

They have several lines of products that can combat skin issues. I had realized there were so many skin conditions!! I’ve of course heard of Eczema, my middle son has bouts with it from time to time. I hadn’t know about Keratosis Pilaris or Dyshidrosis. who knew there were so many different names for these conditions. I just always said oh yep that looks like eczema! lol

Ive tried many other products but nothing seems to be all that effective clearing it up. Im hoping this product proves to be satisfactory to me because frankly Im tired of trying and trying to find one that works for me. So, heres to hoping I win.
