The kids, especially my 5-year-old, have been counting down the days to Halloween since October began (how clever that it’s at the end of a 31 day month, what a way to build anticipation!) I know that – with three kids – we’re going to have a lot of candy in our household (most of which suddenly starts to disappear a few weeks into November when I’ve decided enough is enough!) If you’re looking for some Halloween treat alternatives, the above ideas from Hasbro might just fit the bill (or pumpkin bucket as the case may be!)
Play-Doh Halloween Bag – always a hit among kids, these bags contain 15 cans!
MY LITTLE PONY Crystal-Shine Mystery Pony – these bags each have 1 of a possible 24 different collectible ponies inside!
Kre-O Transformers Micro-Changers Mystery Pack – look for a total of 12 different Transformers!
My Kindergartener will be going to school with a huge selection of these treats for her classmates thanks to our friends at Hasbro! And the leftovers won’t go stale or add to my hips later either! Look for these great treat ideas from Hasbro in Canada at stores like Target, Superstore, Toys R Us and Walmart!
cool
Nice! Maybe I will let my kids t o go treat-or-treating if this kind of treats replace at least half of the candies one day 🙂
I do prefer when my daughter receives something other than candy when we go trick-or-treating. Last year she did get some play-doh and was very happy with it!
Very neat – I like the idea of something other than candy!
