Catch Me If You Can

#FirstFitA universal truth with all babies is that once they are set in motion…they stay in motion!  When our babies are born we can’t wait for the first everything.  First smile, first solids, first steps.  Once those steps start, they’re off and running and it’s often parents who are left wistfully reminiscing about the babies they once had.

Everleigh, my third and who will always be known as my baby, was determined not to be a baby for long.  She was scooting on her belly at just 16 weeks and was crawling just after five months of age.  Yes, really.  Walking  well before her first birthday (around 8-9 months), she was and is still always on the move.

At 2 years old, she’s not slowing down.  She keeps me busy – she keeps us all  busy!

Changing a diaper on an always-in-motion baby is no easy task, so a product like Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers is a lifesaver at home but definitely when out and about.

#FirstFitI love these diapers for changing on the go (consider how much easier it is to change a diaper in a van, for example, on a day-long shopping trip when she can just step into them!)

Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers have easy open sides and grip-tabs so have no fear moms, any diaper messes can still be contained like they are when wrapping up a regular diaper.  If the mess is minimal (like pee), you can easily tear open the sides with your baby/toddler standing and have her step into the new diaper.

The diapers also have Huggies Leak Lock® Protection – so they can be trusted to protect baby (and your upholstery) like other Huggies diapers.

I’m loving these diapers, and diaper change time is now kept very minimal with their help.  Who wants to fight with a baby to change the diaper?  We have far too many other things to argue about.  Like peas.  And why 8 glasses of juice is not going to happen no matter how long you whine and how unjust you think it is.

Want to try Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers for your baby?  Here’s a coupon to save $2 on any one package of HUGGIES® Little Movers Slip-On® Diaper Pants. Share it with three friends and the coupon value increases to $2.50!

Cherish all those firsts moms, but don’t wish for them to happen too fast.  Before you know it they’re off and running and you’re left wondering how that happened when you blinked!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for HUGGIES. I received product samples to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.

  • My daughter has been on the move since she was quite young as well. She is just 7 months now, but has been standing for weeks. We are certain she will be walking quite soon. Keeps each day interesting.

  • I have boys and they are very active just like your daughter. I especially love these diapers so thanks very much for the coupon. There’s nothing like putting a new diaper on a running child!

  • my kids both walked at 10 mths and I always tell people when they cant wait for their kiddies to walk, dont wish too fast cause then all they do is run.

  • at 7 months i couldn’t understand why my little guy didn’t crawl. at 8 months he figured out furniture and was racing around wherever he could pull himself up. at 9 month 3 weeks my son was on the run. by the end of 10 month i could no longer keep chairs at the dining room table or else i’d find him doing his victory dance ontop the table. at 11 months we found him flooding the bathroom when he discovered how to use his arms to heave ho hmself up into the sink (his little bum closing the drain)from the small step stool his sister used. of course the change table had to be taken down to stop the inevitable eating of vaseline and tossing of babypowder. so before he turned 2 i just ppotty trained. i get comments from moms all the time about how young he is to be in underwear but it felt nessecary when he started backward summersaulting around the floor every time i layed him down for a change. and i too tell new moms don’t wish too hard for walking. enjoy the baby stage.

  • So much to look forward to! I am expecting my first little one, and I absolutely love reading all the joys and challenges that are going to come with having a little one. Thanks for posting honestly and candidly.
