A quick glance at the landing page at Pennyful.com says it all – “empowering you to make every penny count.”  That’s a statement I can really get behind.  After all, that’s part of the whole philosophy of Feisty Frugal & Fabulous.  Being frugal is not about being cheap, it’s about finding the best deal for your dollar (or penny as the case may be!)

The concept behind Pennyful is no surprise, given that online shopping and social media sharing is so huge right now.  Retailers know that they need to be present online, in a big way, to encourage you to click over to their store.  So, partnering up with sites like Pennyful helps them because Pennyful will direct customers over.  The incentive?  Shop through any of the stores listed at Pennyful and earn cash back on your purchases into your account.  The store wins because they’ve received a referral through Pennyful to bring you over, Pennyful wins by receiving that referral cash from the store and you win because Pennyful shares that with you.

Basically, why click over to one of your favorite stores you shop at anyway on your own, when a simple step through Pennyful will get you cash back?  It’s a no-brainer!

Pennyful.com is full of awesome shopping for both US and Canadians.  The Canadian shops, admittedly, are fewer than US but they’re still there.  What I’d like to see is a search function that lists stores that ship to Canada specifically or Canadian stores specifically.  You have to do a little bit of creative searching to find them as the site is layed out right now.  I searched for “Canada” and “shipping to Canada” to find stores that I could shop from through Pennyful.

In the end, I picked a favorite, one that always has amazing products and great shipping – TheBodyShop.ca!  I simply found the store on Pennyful, clicked through from Pennyful, and shopped online.  The Body Shop Canada gives you 6.5% cash back when you shop through Pennyful!  Amazing.

I encourage you to take a look at Pennyful and see which of your favorite stores are already working with them to bring you cash back!  Of course, also check out all the stores available – you might just find a new favorite store to shop from!
