Generation Baby is a proud Canadian company! Featuring children’s accessories designed and made here in Canada, Generation Baby products are all lead free and phtalate free fabrics (sad that we have to note this, but we mommies know what we’ve dealt with in the past few years regarding recalls of tainted children’s products) and they use organic ink.
The company ships within Canada and to the US with some amazing shipping prices! For items up to $50, shipping is just $4 within Canada! I love online shopping but sometimes the shipping price just doesn’t justify the expense. This is a great shipping policy!
Taking a look at the website, there are so many great and useful baby products, it was hard to decide what would be the best item to review for moms this winter. Actually, one item stuck out the most and I’m so glad Generation Baby was on board to host a review of their Toezer Pouch. What is a Toezer Pouch? It’s the solution to a problem we moms have all encountered when taking baby out in the stroller with a blanket. Before you know it, you’re pushing the stroller over the blanket which has fallen to the ground. That is, if you’re lucky enough to notice it has even fallen in the first place (I embarrassingly once lost a blanket somewhere between my house and the grocery store, in the city I used to live in).
The Toezer Pouch’s design also helps keep baby toes warm in the stroller in a way a regular blanket can not. Even though I wrap the blanket under my daughter’s feet, within seconds she’s kicked it off. The pouch end of the Toezer Pouch has elastic around the edge to help secure it under the foot-rest at the bottom of the stroller. The blanket part comes right up around baby, and then there are ties on either side to secure the Toezer Pouch to the stroller around the back. Brilliant!! I wish I had this product all along but am now so glad that I do! At just $38.99 CDN this is a fantastic investment, something a mom is sure to get years of use from (it’s washable of course!). The Toezer Pouch can also be used on car seats. I just can’t say enough about how great this product is. This has made my Top Baby Products list of 2009 for sure.
I also had the opportunity to review the Generation Baby Wet Sack. Made from durable water-proof fabric, the Wet Sack can be used to transport things like cloth diapers, dirty oh-my-gosh-you-just-spit-up-everywhere clothing, or even things like swimsuits in the summer. I just started using mine as a carry-all in my diaper bag. It is easy to toss a few diapers and a package of wipes into when going to a restaurant.
