“Mom she looks just like me!”
My daughter loves her Maplelea doll that she received this summer, so when we were asked if we’d like to check-out the new Maplelea Friends Collection, of course I was happy to accept.
Continuing the Maplelea Dolls theme of Canadian dolls for Canadian girls, the Maplelea Friends collection offers dolls with a wide variety of hair, eye and skin tones.
This doll was the closest one to matching my daughter, who has had short hair for years. We’ve had a really hard time finding any dolls with short hair so this was a great find!
Nevaeh was so excited when she pulled this doll out of the box for the first time, and remarked that the doll looked just like her, which I loved!
All the Maplelea Friends dolls have distinct features that little girls will be able to relate to and I think they’re a great new addition to the collection.
The journal accompanying each Maplelea Friend provides 32 pages of prompts, questions and blanks to help you create her story. And then there are 32 pages in the journal for you to tell your own story!
Nevaeh has been busy writing her name on the blank pages as, at 5, she isn’t able to read the prompts in the front part of the book. That’s ok though, because the book is all hers and a pretty big deal.
Did you know that you can’t buy Maplelea Dolls in any stores? They are direct-order only to keep costs low ($9 shipping applies to each order). Orders can be placed online at www.maplelea.com or by calling 1-800-668-4339 24 hours/7 days a week. You can also request a Maplelea catalogue on the site (we love flipping through ours!)
One of my very lucky Canadian readers is going to win a Maplelea Friends doll or Maplelea Girls doll of their choice (ARV $100). To enter to win, just use the Rafflecopter form below!
