Playtex Diaper Genie Mega Giveaway (15 Winners!)

A lot has changed since I had my first child in 2004.  One of the biggest products then was a new(er) product on the market – the Diaper Genie.  I remember my mom and even my older sisters scoffing at the idea of a diaper disposal system. “Diapers belong in the garbage,” they would tell me.  It makes perfect sense for us disposal diapering parents, but if you’ve ever opened a garbage at the end of the day with even just “pee” diapers inside, you know that the odor isn’t pretty, and certainly doesn’t belong under your kitchen sink.

And so, we used the Diaper Genie with our first, and my husband and I joked about the sausage-roll-of-diapers as we called it when I was time to empty it.

Then our second…and third…children came around and we got lazy.  We started tossing diapers one by one in plastic shopping bags onto the deck.  And then we started tossing them in the kitchen garbage.  Or the bathroom garbage.  Oh yeah, we’ve totally slacked (third child coping mechanisms I suppose).  So, given the opportunity to check out the Diaper Genie Elite system once again, 8 years later, I figured why not!

We’ve had our new Playtex Diaper Genie Elite in our home this week and are getting used to one-stop diaper disposal again.  The bags inside are odor-free, for the most part, but I still don’t like having to empty the unit myself and leave that as one of my husband’s tasks.  Still, if you want to have an easy place to dispose of your diapers and not have them sitting on your back step or deck until someone decides to take the garbage to the curb, this system might be worth a try!

Here are the details of this awesome contest:

  1. 15 of my Canadian readers are going to win a Playtex Diaper Genie Elite (ARV $45.99 each)
  2. THEN, of those 15 winners – they will be invited back to leave a review on their own experience with the Diaper Genie Elite.
  3. From those reviews, one of them will be randomly chosen to win a $50 Babies R Us gift card!  Fun, right?  If you’ve ever wanted to review an item, and post it to share with others, my site will be that spot!

So, the first step is to win one of these systems!  To enter to win 1 of 15 Playtex Diaper Genie Elite systems, use the Rafflecopter form below!  Good luck everyone!
