I received this gorgeous Faux Fur-trim trench in a color I’d call more white than tan and couldn’t wait to find some boots to accessorize with (is that bad, I match my boots to my winter jackets?) I picked a size large, based on a wool jacket I had years ago from Old Navy and this one ended up being a little big (I’m about a size 8) but I decided that’s ok because with a sweater underneath it will be more comfortable than had I sized down.
The fur collar, which I didn’t think I’d like at first, is actually quite nice and gives the jacket an entirely different look than one without. If, however, you don’t like the fur, it’s removable.
I can’t stand winter. Why I’ve lived in Saskatchewan my whole life is beyond me. Can you tell how happy I am in that pic? At the very least, if we’re going to have to endure winter, we should look fabulous and not like the Michelin man and we shouldn’t have to spend a ton of money to do so.
