E.T. was one of the first two movies I had on VHS when I got my fabulous VCR for Christmas when I was 10 years old! It was a huge deal then and now, having the 30th Anniversary Edition on Bly-ray Combo Pack with all the added bonuses is a huge deal to me too! It has been so many years since I last saw this movie and watching it with my husband brought me back to the wide-eyed kid I was watching it for the very first time – and how appropriate with Halloween right around the corner! The scene with E.T. as a little ghost bumping into things is priceless.
I wanted to watch the movie without the kids first, in case there were any scenes I may have forgotten about that were scary, but I think they will be ok to watch it.
I need to remember to buy this next time I am out. Loved E.T. as a child.
