Are you a fan of Joe Fresh? Here in Saskatchewan, you can find Joe Fresh clothing at Superstore and it’s been a welcome addition to low-cost clothing options for families in Canada over the past few years. Surprising isn’t it? A brand at the local grocery (er…everything!) store is among the faves of moms when looking for fashionable clothing for their kids – it certainly is among my mom friends.
Let’s put aside our love for kid’s clothing from Joe Fresh for a moment and focus (for once!) on ourselves, shall we moms? Head to your local Loblaws store (Superstore, Loblaws, etc.) and check out what Joe Fresh has for winter fashions – they have tons of great styles waiting with great prices after the holidays.
The Loblaws store in my city (No Frills) only carries grocery items, so to get my fix of Joe Fresh I have to travel an hour. Over the holidays, I picked up some great items by Joe Fresh including a Striped Boatneck Tee ($14) and Slim Jeans ($39), seen above. I also got a cozy plum colored sweater on sale for $15 from $25. That’s another thing I love about Joe Fresh – when items go on sale, they really discount them to get them out the door (I love finding a new sale, when sizes are all available and not picked over, it’s like hitting the jackpot there!)
My favorite shopping time for Joe Fresh? End of season! I’ve walked out of the store with bags and bags of clothes for the kids in the past – though with the prices I’ve been seeing lately, and great fashions, I think it’s time mom walked out with a few bags herself.
I was provided with a Joe Fresh gift card to facilitate this post.
I’ve been a bit disappointed with Joe lately….quality seems to have decreased and it’s getting harder to find cute clothes – they used to have tons of cute kids stuff, but it seems to have diminished, especially in the boy area!!!
Love Joe Fresh clothes. We have a huge Superstore and the kids section is bigger that helps for selection.
We don’t have this brand in the US. I wonder what a similar equivalent would be.
Joe fresh is sold at the Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaw stores, so there may not be an equivalant in your area. Joe is coming to the United States this year according to the reports.
I have found with this brand and Old Navy’s clothing that while the baby clothes up to about size 4 seem to be good quality and wear well, the big boy and adult clothing seems to be ‘disposable clothing’. The salesperson at the Old Navy actually told me they use a lower quality fleece on the adult lines. Don’t know if this is true as I wouldn’t know how to verify it (other than it looks cheaper.)
I have some beautiful baby clothes that I have been able to pass along as we outgrow them from the Joe Fresh line, but just haven’t been as pleased with anything I picked up for myself. Too bad really as the prices are decent.
