If you’re looking for some great stocking stuffer ideas for the kids this year, I don’t think you can go wrong getting a child something personalized with their name on it. Kids are ego-centric by nature and love seeing their name customized on items just for them. I remember how, growing up, I always felt sad when I’d see those personalized pencils or other items with the “standard” kids names on them. Though my friends with common names hated it, I yearned for something like that to have for myself and it never happened.
Oddly enough, the girl with the uncommon name as a child picked less-common names for her children as well. Aside from having no special items with my name on them as a kid, for the most part I liked having a name that no one else in my school had! Besides, these days you can get almost anything personalized with your child’s name, no matter how unique it is.
I was recently sent 3 products from Stuck On You, a company specializing on personalized items just for kids. Nevaeh, who loves having her hair brushed each night (yeah, rare for a 4 year old I know!) now has her own special personalized hair brush with her name and a butterfly icon on it.
Not to be left out, the baby has her own embroidered bath towel with her name on it, and a personalized bib. It makes me smile to see her unique name, Everleigh, on something of her own even if she doesn’t even understand how cool that is just yet.
