Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair

One of the first deliveries we received after we moved into our new house was my 2 year old’s new Flair Highchair from Boon Inc. I remember that when my son turned 2 he was already in a booster seat at the table, so I wondered how long I would be using the new highchair for. Although we do use a booster seat at our regular table and for meals out, we have a bar-style table in our kitchen and the Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair is perfect for this reason! I’m hoping to continue using this chair for months to come and of course wish I had it earlier.

The design of the chair makes it easy to gently glide across the room and even tuck under a table top because of the custom adjustment that you get. Instead of having just 2 adjustment heights like our old highchair, you can customize the height of this chair to the perfect placement. We picked the white/orange color combo even though I would have adored the pink/white combo seen here. I would like to use this chair down the road should we have another baby (jury’s still out, folks) so I thought a neutral color would be best.

I took off the straps on our chair (even labelled them and put them in a zip loc bag for storage, yay me) but otherwise we are making use of all the features including the genius idea to have a removable pad on the chair instead of a fabric cushion. With this exclusive style, food really has nowhere to hide or stick to – everything can be easily wiped down in no time (have you looked under highchair’s pad lately? I dare you.)

Aside from the great functionality of this chair, it also happens to look very modern and not at all cutesy in a household. This is especially important when, like us, you have a toddler in the house but don’t want it to look like you have an infant. The Boon Flair Highchair really is the perfect fit for our household – it looks great, has great features that make it easy to use, and the bar-table height is perfect for households with this increasingly popular style of table.
