I knew it would happen, last night I was looking online at paint colors, debating what color to paint each of the rooms of our new house, and sure enough my dreams involved painting walls. Argh! The scary thing is, paint is just one of the many steps we’re taking in renovating our new home.
The house was built in 2001 so I don’t think we’ll have to look at anything like replacement windows but we might actually be putting in a window on a wall that doesn’t have one! Isn’t that crazy? Has anyone ever done that? I’m literally thinking about putting a hole (ok a window) in the side of my house! If we do that I’m creating an entire project because then we’ll need to look at new insulated vinyl siding as well on that outside wall.
I was saying to a friend the other day that I wished I could have an extreme home makeover where I pick out all the items like paint, carpet, appliances, vinyl replacement windows and doors, new bathtub and shower, etc., and then come back and have it all complete! So, this will be a months-long project but I think it will be a lot of fun! I’ll update with pictures along the way.
OH! I made a decision on the washer/dryer, we went with front loaders – pretty red color with no pedestals!
