Lou Lou’s Corner

Lou Lou’s Corner looks and sounds like the kind of brick and mortar store my kids and I would love to shop at. Yes, that’s right, I said my kids would love to shop there too (and taking them out to stores is cause for a headache most times). Complete with a kid’s movie station to entertain them and a fish tank built into the counter, Lou Lou’s Corner is a store filled with toys, clothing, gifts in well known and not so well known brands. I love stores like this, and could spend hours browsing if only my kids allowed me to do so (they might with a movie station and fish tank nearby!) Unfortunately fo rme, Lou Lou’s Corner is located in Hickory, North Carolina! BUT, fortunately for us all they are now online.

A friend of mine was on a Jellycat hunt last year, and asked me if I knew where to get them online. I had to ask her first, “What the heck is a Jellycat?” Apparently I missed the boat on this one because Jellycat stuffed toys (hailing from England) are hugely popular! Lou Lou’s Corner has a huge assortment of Jellycat toys including the newest ones (Jellycat only releases new toys twice a year…now you know.)

The clothing section at Lou Lou’s Corner would keep me b
usy for awhile going through all the great labels. A newer favorite of mine, Small Paul, jumped out at me when I checked out the site for the first time. I’ve found varying prices on Small Paul clothing online and Lou Lou’s Corner prices are competitive! They have some great sale prices on Small Paul clothing that’s definitely worth a look if you’re a fan of the label like me.

We checked out this Small Paul Long Sleeve White Julius Tee from Lou Lou’s Boutique in size 3T. The Small Paul label is pretty bang on for size (a 2T would have fit my 2 year old perfectly) but being a frugal mama, I wanted this shirt to last as long as it could. So right now, it’s a nice bigger tee with the sleeves rolled up at the cuffs, and looks adorable with jeans. Small Paul clothing always washes well with minimum shrinking and no piling. It also doesn’t stretch out after a few washings (which drives me absolutely nutty when shirts do that!)

Unlike a lot of clothing stores I find online, the sizes go beyond 2T (woo!), actually Lou Lou’s Corner has clothing for kids ranging in size from newborn size all the way up to 6x. Lou Lou’s Corner ships only within the continental US and they have great shipping – a flat rate of only $4.95 for all orders under $65! What about after $65? Free ground shipping at that point!

If you’ve found something and are interested in placing an order, my readers can use discount code FRUGAL10 for 10% off your order until 02/28!
1 reader is going to win a Small Paul Rock Concert Tee! These are so cool – this tee comes with iron on images of Julius and his band mates that your child and you can plan where exactly to put on the stage (or maybe in the crowd!) The tee is a size 6x/7 so that way everyone with a child 6 and under can enter to win, and have something to grow into stashed away in the closet.

To enter, visit Lou Lou’s Corner and have fun looking at all the items available, then leave me a comment here telling me what item you saw that really caught your eye.
