CP Toys Microscope & Slides Set

As part of the Constructive Moms team at CP Toys, I get the opportunity to review a different item of my choice from this fabulous company every few months.  It’s become such a common thing in our household that, last week, when the latest box arrived from CP Toys Elijah recognized the company name on the box and said, “Mom, what’s inside?  Is it for me?  They always send good stuff mom!”

The Microscope & Slides Set ($70.99) from CP Toy was a huge hit with Elijah!  Everything comes in a great plastic case, just like dad’s tools do, making it easy to store and keep things safe from breakage.  Elijah was so eager to tear into this before I snapped a picture.

The set comes with 3 prepared slide kits.  I liked how clear the slide information was for kids with the name, drawing and sample all on the slide.  You can also purchase additional slide kids as well!  I asked CP Toys for the Insect Prepared Slide Kit as well as I knew Elijah would love it (and he does!)

Elijah has been busy checking out slides for the past few days, and has also used some other accessories from the kit like plastic tweezers and a magnified case to view a mosquito he found (too bad he couldn’t collect the mosquito’s million friends here as well!)  This is a great educational toy to keep him occupied over the summer, and I have no doubt that he will be asking to take it to school to show his classmates in the fall.
