I am so not the sporty soccer mom. You’re more likely to see me on the sidelines in a chic pair of sandals than a pair of running shoes (or sneakers as my US readers call them). Still, with two energetic kids, it’s becoming more apparent that I need footwear to keep up with them, while also protecting my own feet (and back, and more). Just like other products I’ve used in the past before I knew better, I’d purchase a cheap pair of shoes for family outings and then pay for it in other ways later. Save cash, pay with pain. Doesn’t seem to make sense does it?

I can’t come up with the right word to describe how sturdy, cozy, and supported my feet feel in these shoes! Based on that comfort, I can’t wait to get out this spring for walks with the kids. Who knows, maybe I’ll attempt hiking this summer again. If my sister is reading this, consider yourself warned.
