The Scents of Summer

I was just driving home this afternoon and had my window open, when the most amazing scent of fresh cut grass hit me. It’s one of those amazing scents of summer that I’d like to capture in a bottle for year-round (though, admittedly, it doesn’t smell quite the same in an air freshener in December, the essence is still there!)

I love candles year-round, and like my house to smell warm, inviting and yes – clean when visitors arrive. Nothing beats having a candle flickering during a summer thunderstorm either, or on a quiet rainy morning when I’m reading and sipping coffee.
