I am a creature of habit, with a slight touch of OCD. This makes me remarkably predictable but also sometimes hard to be around when things get out of place. If I replaced one, would I then have to replace them all? So, I settled for mediocre appliances that weren’t performing as they should, but they matched!

Well – I can tell you with utmost certainty that after experiencing the LG QuadWash Steam Dishwasher, my old one will be sold to a friend of mine, because there’s no way I’m going back. (It also means I’ve got my eye on an LG Fridge now, but that’s a topic for another time…)

1. LG QuadWash – Clean From Every Angle
With four rotating arms instead of the standard two arms on other dishwashers, the LG QuadWash Steam achieves maximum cleaning coverage throughout the entire cycle. 2. The Tub Light
This was what impressed me the moment the dishwasher was installed, and we opened the door. I didn’t realize how dark our dishwasher was until it was illuminated with a gorgeous tub light. And yes, I showed it off on in my Instagram stories the day we got it. Aside from being esthetically pleasing, the light actually makes loading and unloading the dishwasher easier – who knew the cupboard where your dishwasher is housed is such a dark corner?

3. The Third Rack
This might be my favorite feature and something I’ve sent photos of to my friends and family (when you’re in your forties this is what you do!) No more cutlery basket taking up space in the bottom rack, no more questioning of how clean your teenager’s hands are when they remove the spoons and forks from the basket (just me?) While this dishwasher comes with the basket should you want to use it, you won’t. The third rack has plenty of space for all your cutlery, big and small, and then the layout makes it super easy to remove them when clean by the handles.

4. EasyRack™ Plus System
With the EasyRack™ Plus System, we have a height-adjustable third rack (being so slim with cutlery only, you can move it right to the top if you need extra space below for glasses or even bowls) along with foldable tines on the first and second rack making it possible to fit every piece of cookware and dishware in. I love this feature, flip, fold, build, every wash is going to be different when you can move around the tines so easily.

5. The Technology
With the LG SmartThinQ™ smartphone app you can download new wash cycles such as pots & pans or casseroles and even download your own personalized cleaning settings. I love technology – who knew we’d live in an age where your appliances are available at your fingertips when you’re away from home?

Beyond these features, there’s also much to adore about the Dual Wash Zone (pots and pans on the bottom need more pressure than your wine glasses at the top right?) and how environmentally friendly this appliance is (it’s among the most energy-efficient dishwashers in its class!)
