If the frosty wind chills doesn’t remind me every single day that we’ve still got a lot of winter ahead of us, the new discovery of dry skin on my hands for the first time ever certainly does. I’ve been fortunate up until now not to have endured the red, dry skin on my hands that many people not only suffer with in the winter, but for some year-round. It can hurt! Now more than ever I’m acutely aware of how important good skin care is, for my whole body.

(Very) thankfully, I’ve been sent several items from the PREVAGE Skincare and Elizabeth Arden Skincare product lines this winter, and I’ve been diligent about using them, carefully reading each product packaging insert to ensure I’m applying them in the correct order, at the correct time! Yes, I am most definitely a student of good skincare this winter – I intend to get an A!

In an earlier post, I shared how I’m using Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster, followed by PREVAGE Anti-Aging Daily Serum as my first one-two steps every morning. Other PREVAGE products I’ve introduced into my daily routine include:

PREVAGE Anti-Aging + Intensive Repair Eye Serum ($155) – This product combines Elizabeth Arden’s exclusive Idebenone technology, the single most powerful antioxidant, with a blend of Arazine and Thiotaine. I know, what exactly are those, I wondered? It turns out, Arazine soothes skin and helps to reduce the signs of aging caused by inflammation. Thiotaine is another effective antioxidant that complements idebenone in protecting skin from free radical damage due to environmental assaults, allowing Idebenone to concentrate on repairing the look of signs of aging.

PREVAGE Anti-Aging Decollete Firm & Repair Cream ($138) – This is an area that I’ve previously paid very little attention to, and only started to notice it when the lines formed at the top of my chest, and neck.
