Raise The Fun This Christmas With Hasbro

When friends and family come together for the holidays, one of the best ways to pass the time and have some laughs is with a good game! When there are kids of different ages among the group, it’s good to return to some of the classics that everyone knows how to play and Hasbro is certainly a leader in classic games.

Recently, we received a box packed full of some of the best Hasbro games! The box, however, came with a challenge and the kids were eager to try a few challenges out, and then also play the Hasbro games the way they’ve come to learn and love them, which actually made for more game play since there was a variety of ways to play.

Hasbro is encouraging families to “Raise The Fun” this holiday season by playing classic Hasbro games in unique ways that add an extra element of challenge. What if, for example, you played Twister but with pillows stuffed in your shirt making twisting and turning that much more difficult and silly? Or, if you played Hungry Hungry Hippos with your feet instead of your hands? Operation always makes me nervous, but what about trying it with your non-dominant hand? ALL THE SHAKES!

We played Jenga with chopsticks (younger kids may have trouble maneuvering them so using them to poke the blocks works too) and Guess Who? by imitating the faces of the people we were guessing. We played The Game of Life for the first time with the kids and this is the game they’ve asked to play again and again! I forgot how much I liked this game as a kid, and now that we’ve played it “a few” times, it’s fostered some good discussions at the table as well. You could also “raise the fun” on this game by sucking on a slice of lemon when your journey takes a turn for the worse!

We’ll be playing all our new Hasbro games through the holiday season and most definitely on NYE! If your game closet needs an update, consider classic games from Hasbro, and raise the fun with some new twists!
