Each of us has our unique talents. Being a savvy shopper certainly runs in the family (ask me how many sets of sheets my own mother purchased at 80% off when Zellers closed a few years ago…) and my sister is the AIR MILES Guru for sure. She regularly uses her Miles not only for flights to visit us from Calgary and ever since my youngest was a toddler, she’d find amazing birthday and Christmas gifts in the AIR MILES Dream catalog and have them delivered to my door! I, the deals and shopping mommy blogger, am regularly learning from her on how to maximize my Miles and gain rewards like she does!
Whether you have family far away and would like to shop for something to arrive to their door, or you’re trying to find a way to trim the budget this holiday season, the AIR MILES Gift Guide: The Holiday Edition has something for everyone from the foodie and health guru to the tech lover and avid traveller, so you’re sure to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
When was the last time you checked your AIR MILES Account? Many Collectors don’t realize they have enough Miles to get items on their holiday gift list and that they have great brands like Apple, Dyson, Breville, Sony and a wide range of items from electronics to kitchen appliances, to jewellery and personal care items too. Here are just 5 picks from the Gift Guide that I found for gifting this holiday season:
HP Sprocket Photo Printer (2380 Reward Miles)
Have you seen these cute little printers? My 10 year old would this so much! This printer enables you to print 2 x 3-inch (5 x 7.6 cm) snapshots or stickers right from your smartphone or tablet!
Playstation 4 Bundle (8700 Reward Miles)
My son is thirteen and a gaming enthusiast. He has mentioned wanting a PS4, but I can’t justify the cost of one when he already has another gaming system. Free makes this an entirely different conversation! Cool thing I didn’t know – you can also watch movies and TV shows through the system!
SONY® XB650BT Extra BassTM Wireless Headphones (2100 Reward Miles)
Another item my son has been asking for. His gaming adventures (and misadventures, like not looking where he sat down) means he’s in need of new Wireless Headphones and these ones by Sony deliver up to 30 hours of battery life.
Hoover Spotless Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner (2000 Reward Miles)
Every household needs a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner and I know from experience with this exact model that this machine delivers a powerful punch and cleaning results. I love mine so much, and I’d use my Reward Miles to gift one to my sister!
Philips Viva Collection Airfryer (3450 Reward Miles)
I’ve heard a lot of buzz about Airfryers, have you? With the Philips Airfryer you can fry more healthfully with up to 75% less fat because you only need to use a tablespoon of oil or less! This gift? It would be for me!
The AIR MILES Gift Guide: The Holiday Edition is available until December 8th so get shopping! If you find something amazing in the AIR MILES Gift Guide, share it on social media with the hashtag #GiveWithMiles
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. As always, all witty commentary and opinions are my own.
I only started collecting Air Miles last year. We only have three grocery stores in town and sobeys is the only one who you can collect miles from, and we shop there regularly so it only made sense to sign up and start collecting.
I always spend my miles on gift cards long before I have enough for those items but good to know for the future! 🙂
I actually havent checked my reward miles in a while! totally going to do that now!
I think the gift guide has some great ideas for everyone on my list. And I am thrilled to see the Cineplex gift certificates back again!!!
Oh… I might pick up that air fryer since I’m not travelling this spring 😀 Yay!
I have an older model of those Sony wireless headphones and I’ve been using them for years. Definitely a great gift!
Not sure if these are the same air miles that my daughter collects or not but she’s just booked for her family to fly to Europe in the summer next year. However she couldn’t have the flights she’d chosen for some reason but could book different ones where they have to have a stop over and have to pay all the taxes – now that is very fishy to me.
I love free, I usually use my points towards groceries but I should look into getting things, my sister has bought alot with her points and we went to BC with them in Sept.
There are some really nice choices in this gift guide. I don’t have a lot of miles right now but might get the slow cooker.
I am a loyalty shopper, but if there is one program that hasn’t reaped rewards for me it would be Air Miles.
that Hoover Spotless would be great to have. Will have to check my air miles out.
I agree with Jan’s comment below. You have to spend $20 to earn one air mile. Then to reap the rewards you have to cash in 95 air miles Do the math. It’s not such a good program. I shop at the store where they offer pc Plus points. A much better deal.
I actually have an air fryer well worth buying it, we love our fries but hated the grease of deep frying, so many things it can be used for
I use my Airmiles card at Foodland and LCBO but I’m terrible at remembering to use it online. I know I’m missing out so I’ve got to smarten up :0
there are some good rewards here, I need to start collecting more miles 🙂
So many great ideas! The air fryer is on my list this year. Love Air Miles!
I love this list of rewards, of course I don’t have near enough but it is fun to dream!
I have collected Air Miles for many years.
I must check my account. I did use them up before when the site said we had to or lose them.
I love my airmiles….I never save enough to get something big but I do always enjoy getting my cash rewards. It’s the only way I can afford my Starbucks addiction. Lol
I used all my miles I had last year on a waffle maker, and sadly have no [points this year, we do not have the stores around here to collect the miles, so it sucks for someone like me

My husband has been collecting for years but never used them.
I use my Airmiles rewards points for gas and groceries.
I should check my points!
I really need to switch some of my miles options to dream miles!
I need some wireless headphones so I can watch tv while I am on the treadmill. Earbuds just don’t stay in my ears.
I started to collect air miles when it all started but we live in a small town and not many stores do air miles
I have cashed in my air miles over the years for gift cards & tickets to events so I no longer have many left! But I would like to collect enough to get the Hoover Spotless Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner!
i love my airmiles, been a long time air mile collector.
Those headphones would be great!
Awesome! I love earning and spending Air Miles!
Lots of great ideas here! Thank you for posting.
I really should go check it out again. The best part about collecting but ignoring the rewards is I’m usually surprised at how many miles we have 😀
I hoard my Air Miles then end up using them for groceries… maybe some day I’ll be able to exchange them for something more tangible lol. I love their gift suggestions
I love Air Miles, and they have a great selection of things to buy with your rewards!
There is a great selection here for everyone on my Christmas list!

I have been an Air Miles collector for years – I have gotten back some great rewards! I love that my every day shopping can reward me:)
The Dyson hair dryer is available, I just wish I had enough miles! I will keep saving – I’d love to try it, but would never have the money to actually buy it so using Air Miles would be a way for me to gift myself this item! I have quite a lot of miles, because I have been saving a long time (even earned gold status last year!), but now I want to save them and combine them with newly earned miles to treat myself to this new Dyson product.
Great items! Those wireless headphones look sweet.
I just started collecting Air Miles. I have had the card for quite some time but never really used it until recently. Definitely going to be using it as much as I can

The Hoover spotless cleaner is a must!! Would love this!
My hubby and I have been collecting for years. I would love the Philips Viva Collection Airfryer! I’ve heard great things about it.
I have not checked my air miles account in a long time. I was one of the ones that got sucked in to cashing them in as they said they would disappear and then changed their mind on that policy.
That is quite the gift guide. Love the Playstation 4 Bundle and the SONY® XB650BT Extra BassTM Wireless Headphones. They are all quite sweet though 🙂
Air Miles has had so many great promotions lately! My balance has been leaping up. I use the cash rewards and save it up for Christmas dinner, chocolates and treats from Sobeys. It’s a great help with the budget this time of year!
