We’ve been told our whole lives not to play with our food. I say it to my kids as a mom – how lame am I?
The different ways we enjoy our food has become part of the foodie movement. More and more, whether on Instagram or Pinterest, we’re seeing creative takes on everyday food and recipes, and suddenly playing with your food has actually become OK – I draw the line at spaghetti though!
A fun new take on playing with your food comes from Whippet! Remember these? A part of every childhood it seems, you can think back and remember a time when you enjoyed these delicious snacks as a child, or perhaps just last week if you currently have Whippet Original cookies in your pantry.
Now, Dare introduces Whippet Sticks – in Coconut and Brownie flavours – just in time for back to school fun! Whether you squish, twist or pull them apart, Whippet Sticks are fun to eat and taste delicious (I just had some tossed into my popcorn bowl last night!)
Made with heavenly chocolate and irresistible chewy centers, Whippet Sticks are an indulgent little snack made with no artificial colours and 0 grams of trans fat per serving. My kids prefer them dipped in a glass of icy cold milk – me, I like that sweet and salty mixture when they’re added to my popcorn bowl. They’re also delicious with coffee!
Given the opportunity to play with their food, my girls (9 and 6) were on board! Huge fans of YouTube unboxing and review videos, they have been begging this mommy blogger for their own account. I’m not ready for that yet, but I did give them the opportunity to help create a video to share the fun of Whippet Sticks! This video is written and directed by Miss Nevaeh and Miss Everleigh – we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!
We’re helping you stock your pantry for back to school with Whippet! One reader is going to win 6 boxes of Dare Whippet Sticks (3 coconut, 3 brownie)! Fill in your name and email address in the form below to get started, then leave a comment on the blog telling us if you remember Whippet from your childhood – or maybe you currently have Whippet cookies in your pantry?
