Wine Down With Hoover

This past month or so has been a bit disasterous in my household. In order the following things occurred which all nearly put me over the edge but somehow left me unscathed on the other side of it thanks to 1) wine and 2) good cleaning products.

1. The very same day my husband left for a three-week work trip, my labradoodle had explosive diarrhea all over my main floor. Thankfully it’s hardwood and thankfully, my son was a champ and helped me clean it up.
2. The area rug in my living room did not survive, however, and was hauled out over my shoulder to the garbage bin that day.
3. Days after that trauma, I spilled about a half glass of red wine on my stairway, which is carpeted, in an attempt to draw myself a bubble bath and relax for the evening. Which then made me so mad I didn’t run a bath and didn’t relax not one bit (I did, however, refill my glass.)
4. Within a week of my husband’s return home we started the process of renovating our kitchen. While not doing it ourselves (thankfully), it put our entire household in upheaval for 4 solid weeks.

Too bad I tossed that area rug, because I’m certain the Hoover Spotless Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner could have cleaned it and given it a second life.
