Kellogg’s Rice Krispies and The Salvation Army have partnered this year for the Treats For Toys program. A huge success in years past, I’m excited to be a part of this program again this year and share how your family can help give to kids in need this Christmas.
Every child deserves to have a toy to open at Christmas but for many, it just doesn’t happen. What if you could do something as a family, at home in your kitchen, that only takes a short time, is fun and relaxing among the holiday chaos, and in turn give toys to kids this Christmas? You can, in a very simple way.
Make. Share. Give. That’s the idea behind the Treats For Toys program. Make a toy-shaped treat using Rice Krispies, Share the picture on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or at TreatsForToys.ca using the hashtag #TreatsForToys and Kellogg’s will donate $20 to The Salvation Army to purchase toys for kids in need this Christmas.
One of our readers is going to win a Rice Krispies prize package with everything you need to create some Rice Krispies toy shaped treats to photograph, share, and in turn give $20 for each share to The Salvation Army! Because you only have up until December 21st to accomplish this task, this is a one-day only giveaway that will end tomorrow at noon! Good luck!
