Sometimes, we receive a product that I am so overly impressed with that I struggle figuring out how exactly to explain it’s awesomeness (me, a loss for words?) The Kid-O-Bunk is that product, and is near the top of my “must-have” items for busy families going into 2016!
Traveling as a family of 5, we’re often in one hotel room with two beds and a pull-out couch if we’re lucky. While it will suffice, sometimes it gets crowded. Visiting family, we’re often determining who ends up on a blow-up mattress. The Kid-O-Bunk gives you two more beds to utilize in a small space, and kids think it’s fantastic to have traveling bunk beds on the go!
We had the opportunity to use our Kid-O-Bunk just last weekend when we had family in town. Our guests were able to utilize the bunk with their two kids, ages 6 and 4, giving mom and dad the bed to themselves in our spare bedroom. After they left, my daughters insisted we keep it up – at least for a few days – so they could pretend they were camping (hey, whatever gets them busy right?)
Set up was easy (I watched the men do it, which was super-easy) and the unit itself isn’t heavy to move around. I love the storage pockets for all the kid’s ‘stuff’, whether it be books, an iPad or even a water bottle. We heard no complaints from our little guests this weekend, but rather a discussion over coffee the next morning on pricing and where to buy.
Here’s the bad news for Canadians: the Kid-O-Bunk isn’t available in Canada for purchase just yet! Available at Target.com, kidobunk.com, Bass Pro and Cabela’s in the US, we’re hoping to see distribution in Canada in 2016. In the meantime, Canadians can order it online but based on the total weight the shipping is likely around $100 (I checked for my postal code and it was $96.88 with UPS). However, if you have family in the US or a shipping point, start telling your friends! Retailing at $289.99 the Kid-O-Bunk is an awesome investment in my opinion.

We would use it everywhere….especially when visiting the Grandparents
Sleepovers with my daughters friends , either here or there , it would be handy on a camping trip , even days at the beach it would be great for a lil nap

I am in awe this such a clever design and authentically practical ! Why hasn’t anything like it been invented before ! I would use this for all the sleep overs the kids would be able to have ,at grandma’s house,aunties ,camping . For the daycare when we have PA days and there are extra kiddos.
