Years of Play With Play All Day Elmo

With three children over the span of seven years, I’ve seen the advancement in infant and preschooler toys during that time. Now that my youngest is four, I’m impressed with the developments in toys I’ve seen even in the short time since she was born.

As a parent, I love toys that grow with my children. Bikes that transform from push-style to ride-along,for example, help the family budget because one product can replace two. Toys that serve more than one purpose fit into that category and they’re much easier to find than they were eleven years ago.

Even Elmo has advanced – it’s true! This season, Play All Day Elmo is going to be a very popular plush buddy for toddlers and preschoolers and here’s why: with two modes of play, this toy grows with your child which – in my opinion – makes it a smart purchase.

Toddlers live in a world of cause and effect. They learn that if they drop a cookie off their high chair, it falls to the ground (and mom might pick it up.) They measure how a cry might bring mom running, and determine that if they pull over a plant, mom won’t be impressed. Cause and effect is part of a toddler’s learning, and Play All Day Elmo’s Toddler mode works in this manner.

Once in Preschool mode, Play All Day Elmo teaches through games and activities, reminiscent of “red light, green light”, pat-a-cake and more. Elmo’s sensors help him respond to the world around him – hold him upside down and you’ll get a different reaction than you will when squeezing his nose!

With a total of over 150 responses and 8 games and activities, Play All Day Elmo will keep your toddler or preschooler occupied for far more than one day will allow, which is a very good thing. Unlike other toys, I suspect little ones will keep coming back to Play All Day Elmo to see what’s new, what will he do this time? What will we learn? I love that about this huggable, adorable little guy. You can learn more about Play All Day Elmo here!

Although this post has been generously sponsored Hasbro Canada, the opinions and language are my own.
