While the weather certainly hasn’t been very spring-like for more than a few days at a time here in Saskatchewan, I’m going to have faith that our last dump of snow was indeed the last (until October, anyway!) To that end, I’ve been busy cleaning and reorganizing and making plans both inside and out. It’s amazing how just the act of opening your windows and letting the fresh air roll in can transform not only your mood but all the dust in your home!
I’ll take mother nature’s nudge in that breeze and clean from the top down (don’t forget the tops of your kitchen cupboards and along the tops of your door frames!) using some of my favourites (like my Swiffer 360 Duster Extender Kit).
While I love the open window fresh-air scent, rustling up all that dust leaves my house smelling a little musty once the windows are shut again, so using Febreze Noticables is the perfect way to add a scent to a room while refreshing it and removing odors.
To help give you a motivational boost, I’ve got a Refresh Your Home prize package up for grabs, packed full of some of my P&G products to help! Valued at $60 there’s no excuse not to have your home spring-fresh. Unless of course it snows. Snow is always an excuse to just say no, and go hide under the covers for awhile.

I can’t wait to tackle the basement
My garage could use a serious cleaning especially since we are getting ready to move.
The windows are in desperate need of cleaning. I live in a high rise and the windows didn’t get cleaned on the outside last year. The scheduled cleaning date was cancelled, so as a result, the windows are filthy on the outside.
I want to target my kitchen mostly the pantry first.
I want to target my bedroom, let the spring in and the fall out.
first would be the kitchen
Our porch. I’d love to have a nice mudroom type area out there with benches and built in storage. But it needs cleaned out desperately first. And it’s unfortunately the first thing people see when they walk into our home.
The basement needs to be gutted.
we really need to do our windows
I will be targeting my family room.
I can hardly wait to get at the windows, they are filthy after a winter of neglect.

My workroom really needs it.

The first room I want to tackle is my kitchen. It gets so dusty and it drives me a little nutty. I try to keep on top of it, but it could use a really thorough cleaning!
My Windows need a good spring clean!
I am targeting my kitchen cupboards. I have a tiny condo kitchen so I need to get organized. Plus I want to redo my Master bedroom, but I think a thorough spring cleaning is the first step in there.

I would love to target the closet first – sort out old shoes and get rid of ones we don’t need.

Great tips about the cupboards and door frames! I definitely can’t wait to get down into my family room for a deep down clean from top to bottom. My son and I hibernated down there like a couple of bears for the winter and now it’s time to get it looking (and smelling) fresh again! As always, thanks for a great giveaway!
