Unlike our neighbors, Saskatchewan residents are treated to a break in February and a break at Easter in April. The idea of a March break is somewhat foreign to me since the standard as it is now is what I had growing up too! So, specific to my hometown, here’s a collection of day camps and activities I researched in Regina. Now that we’re back living in the Queen City, I had to jump online to find ways to save my sanity this Easter break and here are some of my favorites!
Cost: 4 day camps are $160 for members and $200 for non-members
Details: The Saskatchewan Science Centre offers Spring Break programming for kids ages 6-11. Groups are divided by age (6-8 and 9-11). Campers experience themed activities and experiments, science demonstrations, award-winning exhibits, an IMAX film and ample time to run around and enjoy a Science Centre experience. The theme for Spring Break week is, naturally, Spring Into Science!
