12 Monkeys Moves to the Small Screen in a Big Way

Inspired by the classic blockbuster film, which commemorates its 20th anniversary next year, 12 Monkeys explores the provocative story of a time traveller from a decimated future in a high-stakes race against the clock. Utilizing a dangerous and untested method of time travel, he journeys from 2043 to the present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will all but annihilate the human race.

The time travel series also stars Amanda Schull (Suits, Pretty Little Liars, Center Stage) as Cassandra Railly; Kirk Acevedo (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Black Donnellys) as Ramse; and Noah Bean (Nikita, Damages) as Aaron Marker. Recurring cast include Tom Noonan (Damages, Hell on Wheels) and Canadian Emily Hampshire (Rookie Blue, Cosmopolis).

I can’t believe 12 Monkeys is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year! The series has inspired me to see the original movie again before I dive into 12 Monkeys on Showcase. You can 12 Monkeys on Showcase beginning Friday February 16th.
